Since 1977, La Crosse County Housing Authority (LCHA) has been providing rental units for families with limited incomes. In 166 manor apartments and 78 duplex apartments, rents are based on adjusted gross income. Twenty-six senior and twenty-four family units are at an established rental rate. Our units are located in Holmen, Onalaska, West Salem, Bangor, Mindoro and on French Island. SEE MAP

Cedar Meadows
Cedar Meadows opened 1993 as a mixed income housing community. It consists of 12 duplexes (24 rental units) on South Locust Avenue, Holmen, WI. 16 of the units are two bedroom and 8 are three bedroom. Whispering Pines – Senior Living
Whispering Pines I offers 16 one-bedroom apartments, and Whispering Pines II offers 10 two-bedroom units. Residency is limited to seniors 50 years or older. Designed for independent living, each home has a kitchen with refrigerator and range, living room, bathroom and walk-in storage.
